BASKETBALL RULES

- All games will start on time!! . We only have the courts for a certain amount of time and people are waiting to go on the courts after us so all games will start on time! - I cannot stress this enough - if a game is called for certain time you must arrive at least 15 min before to prepare. Tip-off will be at the game time listed.

- CLOCK WILL START RUNNING AT TIP-OFF TIME LISTED. IF ONE TEAM HAS A FULL TEAM AND THE OTHER TEAM DOES NOT - THE TEAM WITH FULL AMOUNT GUYS WILL RECEIVE 2 FREE POINTS FOR EVERY MINUTE (UNDER 28 MINUTES) THAT A TEAM CANNOT BE SUPPLIED.

WE WILL START ON TIME! DON'T HURT YOUR TEAM BY BEING LATE!
- If a team cannot supply a full team , they must get a substitute. this sub could be someone from another team or an outsider. however all subs must be approved by me first. If 3 guys cannot be supplied the team will have to forfeit the game.

- please wear your team color! it is easier to play in games when your team is all wearing the same color.

their are no refs! this is pick up style games!

so all players must respect each other calls! no matter what!

1) There are no AND 1's, if you call a foul, you will keep the ball, but the basket will not count.

2) Winner's ball. If you score, you get the ball back next possession.

3) there is 10 fouls allowed per team. on the 10th foul, shooting or non shooting, they will be given 1 free throw shot plus possession.

3) each team will be playing 2 games every week- the winner will be decided by 2 ways:

first team to score 31 points going by 2's and 3's or when a half hour has passed (running time).

4) if there is an argued call, the offense will shoot for possession of the ball.

5) if the game is tied when we stop time there will be a 3 minute, Sudden Death overtime with running time! - we will continue overtimes until there is a winner.

6) At least 1 member of a team must be present for the game to count. If none are present, the game will be forfeited and the team will receive 0 points for the game.

7) Top 6 teams make the playoffs (two teams are eliminated). The two best teams will get first round byes.

8) do not make a mess - please keep the place clean - any bottles you bring please make sure they wind up in the garbage can.
